“Bac Kim Thang” is a 2019 Vietnamese horror film directed by Tran Huu Tan and produced by Hoang Quan. The film centers around a western family with strict customs and garnered significant success at the box office. It also had the privilege of being selected at the Busan Film Festiva 2019l in Korea, marking the first Vietnamese psychological thriller film to participate in BIFF, Asia’s largest film festival and the 5th largest worldwide. The film was well-received by audiences and critics alike. Notably, “Home Sweet Home” was also the first Vietnamese psychological horror feature to receive a theatrical release in Taiwan, screening in over 17 theaters.
