Chong Nguoi Ta is a family drama that explores the subject of LGBT community through an unexpected twist, telling a story of love and hate involving three characters: Ha, Cuong, and Trung. Directed by Nguyen Huu Tien, the film portrays the tragedy faced by gay people and their wives and children, adding a highly sensitive element to the storyline.

According to Tuoi Tre newspaper, Chong Nguoi Ta is one of the few Vietnamese films that presents a serious perspective on homosexuals without resorting to using them as a tool for humor. The script contains several plot twists, keeping the audience engaged and surprised throughout the film.
